This is happening in a lot of places, but this is a great opportunity to shed some light. Atlanta's historic Bowen homes housing projects were demolished last Wednesday. I'm all for improving a city and cleaning up the streets and such, but you never really here about what's being done with the people being displaced. They're being done dirty. I'm not gonna say too much more on it, but I'm feeling what Dax from SnortThis.com had to say about it.

Look at you getting all Atown conscious. And just so you know all the people getting put out of the projects are just moving further south to Clayton County. The bigger story though will be when they closedown the housing on Boulevard that takes up all that area after you turn left off Freedom Pkwy. Yes its crime ridden but moving criminals around doesnt stop crime but of course that land is worth millions and called public housing but I doubt the public will be seeing any of that money.
