To kick off the new year in 2010, Air Jordan will release one of its most sought after models of all time, the Air Jordan VI Infrared. The weapon of choice as Jordan and the Bulls captured MJ’s first of many championship titiles, the shoe’s only previous retro was in 2000. With the January, 2010 release date comes a suggested retail price of $150 USD.

If you have any hint of melanin in your skin, then you've probably seen the BET Awards by now. Yeah, there were some things that could've been better and some parts where I had no idea what was going on, but overall I definitely enjoyed myself and applaud BET for putting together the show that they did so last minute with the recent death of Michael Jackson. Sometimes we as black people get so caught up in criticizing things like this and focusing on the negative aspects (especially when it's BET), but I think for what it was worth I appreciated the show and how they paid tribute to the King of music. (And y'all KNOW how I feel about BET).
On another note, The BET awards opened my eyes to the effectiveness of Twitter and why it can be so entertaining. It was definitely a party goin' on. People kept things fun with all the comments and observations on there and the celebrity tweets from the awards and tweet pics were pretty cool. Tweet of the night:

Simply the greatest. Michael Jackson is the single best entertainer of our time and the blueprint for most of R&B and Pop music as we know it. I randomly caught an infomercial for Kidz Bop 16 last night. I've never really paid attention to just how ridiculous this concept really is. Not only is Kidz Bop hilarious because these kids have absolutely no vocal talent, but also because it is completely unnecessary. They choose all songs that are pretty much kid friendly already and compress them into pre-teen chants that all end up sounding exactly alike.
The above leads me to question who would produce such a putrid series of musical plagiarism. And furthermore who continues to listen to this stuff? Something tells me it's not kids. Have any of y'all ever owned a Kidz Bop album or know someone that does?
p.s. Here's the tracklist to the newest Kidz Bop album, I wonder if Kanye knows they're doing this.
