THESE GIRLS ARE MAKING A KILLING!

Apparently, Lauren makes $125,000 a show... A SHOW! And the other girls are all making between 90 & 100 stacks per episode. Do the math. (Dramatic Pause)... Now what did YOU do today?

On a more personal note, I have decided that instead of finishing school it would make more sense for me to move to L.A. to pursue my newfound goal in life: An on-again, off-again recurring role relationship with Lauren Conrad. It is my vision to go down in history as the first black man ever seen on "The Hills". Wish me luck.

Sunday Hilarity: Big Egg!

You may be asking yourself what was the point of me posting such stupidity. Well I'm going to tell you why:

1. I love eggs... scrambled... with cheese. I could eat them at anytime of the day.
2. I SWEAR that's the girl from the "Kittens" video @ 0:47.
3. Somehow the phrase "O.... weird" (0:43) unlocked a world for me in which this video became something of extreme comedy (in sort of a Robin Williams, "I think my mannerisms & ideas are really funny, but in all actuality they're just lame, which after a while becomes pretty funny" kinda way).
4. The husband wife banter is jam-packed with awkwarness. "Oh those dark... rich yokes."

Let There Be Light...

On My Grizzly.

Is the title of this post a predictably lame play on words?... Yes. Do I care?.... Not enough to change it. My creativity is slacking at the moment so that's as good as it gets for now. That's why I post super creative stuff on here. Because this is the the level of creativity I hope to one day possess consistantly.

This isn't even the official video for "Two Weeks" but I like it. The official video is equally fresh if not fresher, but it's also kinda spooky, so I put that one after the jump. I've been listening to a lot of Grizzly Bear, Kings of Leon, The Strokes, etc. lately... enjoy.

PS3 took a page outta Nike's book... Clever. While I applaud this marketing strategy, might I suggest that instead of offering custom colorways, you just come out with a better, more powerful gaming system!!... No? Ok, Ps3id it is then... until that new XBox 360 Project Natal drops and CHANGES THE GAME!

This is Perfection

This is a great soundboard. All they need is a clip from the Kanye rant at the VMA's an it would be complete. Nonetheless, kudos Complex... this is why I buy your magazine. I had to scale it down a little bit to fit the blog. But you can check the full soundboard out HERE.

Enjoy.

Keith Hairing x Kanye x Ibn Jasper

This Keith Haring piece was the inspiration for Kanye's new "hair art". He's been wanting a Keith Haring inspired piece in his head for about a year now, and he and image consultant/barber Ibn Jasper have finally found the right time and piece to recreate. I like the tribal vibe that the design gives off. This is a haircut for WARRIORS... Pics after the jump.

Don't try this at home./Results may vary./King like T.I., but in the Chi?... Larry.

I think Passst Go.

Monopoly has partnered with Google to create Monopoly City Streets which will utilize Google maps so you can buy and build on real streets around the world. The new version of the game will also introduce new structures like stadiums, castles and skyscrapers, as well as garbage dumps and prisons which can be constructed on other player’s streets, diminishing their value. EEEE!

Lo Wayne fact: It's one of my goals to play monopoly with real money. Me and my homies tried to scale it down and do it in High School but it didn't work out... soon tho.

9/11... We will never forget

Happy Jay Day people! Yes, I know the album came out on Tuesday, but since it was 'sposed to drop today on the anniversary... it's Jay Day... Great day... Great album... disagree?... leave a comment on it and watch how quickly I disregard everything you say.

I posted that pic basically to say... buy an album every now and then, it's good for your health. If you Know me then you know that I don't buy music too much (jk?), but when it comes to gooD (dramatic pause) musiC, it's important that we support it. When I feel like an albUm is gonna be something special or it's an artist I riDe wit (II), I don't listen to any leaks, then buy it on the release date and sIt in my car and just let it blast cover to cover. It makes the release date an event rather than just a formality. That's the way it used to be before we got all greedy. Plus it feels better when the first time you hear an album you listen to the whole body of work rather than a leak here and a leak there.

If we don't support good... Music, then who will? Look at all the other music we support on a daily basis. Soulja Boy is killing the ringtone game, Gucci has the hOttest record in the club right now and The New Boyz stay on the radio. I have no problem with that, but the fact of the matter is that the "real" (or whaTever elitist label you choose to slap on it) hip-hop is not going to get that type of love. Lupe does not make songs for the radio, Wale is not going to Make much money off of ringtones & Pac Div gets no love in the club (no Usher). So the only way they're going to make money is thru record sales and performances.

I hate to see it, but I can understand when certain artists "sell out" and you see underground cats try to make a club record or dumb down their music. It's because it seems like that's all people are responding to and at the end of the day, artists are tryna eat. So the next time you get on your horse and talk about ________ killed hip-hop, ask yourself what YOU'RE doing to keep hip-hop alive aside from just downloading/YouTubing (read "asking Lo to burn you a cd") the sh** out of it w/o so much as a "thank you".

[You have just witnessed a quick Hov post turn into a classic personal rant... clap for him]

Quote of The Day: Lao Tzu

“Be careful what you water your dreams with. Water them with worry and fear and you will produce weeds that choke the life from your dream. Water them with optimism and solutions and you will cultivate success. Always be on the lookout for ways to turn a problem into an opportunity for success. Always be on the lookout for ways to nurture your dream.”

She Farted and Created The World by Scott Coello

I love stuff like this.

"She Farted And Created The World is an animation about a dog who farts and creates a world... and follow a sort-of evolution cycle within it.
The whole thing is made entirely from recycled papers. Bank statements, bills, scraps found on the street, pointless spam mail, paper the graphic kids throw out (they waste so much paper)... whatever I could get my mitts on!"
