She's spoken to Universities such as Brandeis and UCLA. I'm all for people trying to advance and be the best in their field, but I don't know if in this situation that's what she's really doing. Either way, I respect her for her vision. I just wanna hear your thoughts on it though.

What she says she wants to do now is raise the bar for pornography. "I think it's too easy to just show up and fuck," she says. "I want to see people try a little harder. For me these past few years have been about changing things as a performer and challenging the people I'm having sex with." She also wants to promote the idea that a female porn star can be empowered, however oxymoronic that might sound. "Some people believe in God and the devil and some people do not believe in anything," she says. "Some people like porn and sex, and other people believe in monogamy. What one person sees as degrading and disgusting and bad for women might make some women feel empowered and beautiful and strong."

"Diversification is the most important thing for me right now," she says. She sees herself not only as a porn star, but as a multi-platform artist--one who also has an industrial music project and a graphic novel and a photography book on the way. "A lot of people don't want an intellectual porn star," she says. "They don't want a porn star to be a performance artist or a musician or a photographer. they just want the clichéd idea of porn star. I don't think you should be in this business if you think that way. The adult industry is changing, and people are going to have to be progressive--and if they're not, they're going to fail."

Happy Father's Day Pops

This blog is all about Motivation, Inspiration, & Aspiration. So it's only right that I highlight the two most influential people in my life. My Dad & My Grandad. My dad has opened my eyes to a lot of different aspects of life and always been straight up with me about what it takes to be successful. I watch him wake up at 4:30 every morning to get up and go to work so that I live comfortably and doesn't mention it at all. He just does what has to be done. My grandfather was the same way and played a huge part in raising me and keeping me grounded.

Happy Fathers Day to my dad, Grandpa TC up in heaven and to all the other fathers out there doing what they're supposed to.

She's An Angel

I used to ride down Lake shore to this back in the day (In My Mind = Your favorite pillow/mattress/sheets/jumpoff/whatever else you sleep on). I remember the video and how it never really got pub, but P always has the Baddest girls in his videos so I figured I'd shed light.

* ^ This version was never released at all. It's a mock up for what would've been the vid, but I guess it got scrapped.

* ^ This is the finished version I was familiar with, but it didn't really get put out either: Equally dope.

So what to do you think? Should P have kept the first version? Should he have released them both? Did "In My Mind" not get enough pub? Does Pharrell breed his video girls on some secret ass farm in Virginia? Holla at me.

K-Swiss ain't been cool since the 90's, but it looks like they're tryna make a comback w/ these highs. I'm not gonna lie... I think these are fly. I don't care what brand they are. They don't come out 'til Spring 2010 tho. Back in the day, all white kicks were an essential, now not so much... but I think a pair of crisp all white kicks, worn right is a bigger fashion statement than people realize.
